  • Do I need a real estate agent to purchase a new home?
    No, you do not need a real estate agent to purchase a new home from Lennar or one of our subsidiaries. Our New Home Consultants are with you every step of your new home journey, from shop to buy to close, answering questions and ensuring your smooth transition into homeownership. Of course, you are always free to work with an independent real estate professional, if you so choose.
  • Can I have a real estate agent (anyway)?
    Yes, your choice to have an agent is entirely up to you.
  • If I have a real estate agent, does he or she need to visit the community with me?
    Yes, if you choose to work with a real estate agent, your agent is required to accompany and register with you during your first visit to the Welcome Home Center.
  • What is an Active Adult Community?
    These Lennar communities offer residents ages 55 and better the ultimate in carefree, innovative living. Enjoy resort-style amenities and activities, as well as the chance to explore and make lifelong friends in some of the nation’s most popular cities to retire.   • What is the Connected Home?
    The Connected Home by Lennar is the first Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Home Design that keeps you connected to Wi-Fi enabled products in your home with no dead spots. These homes are built according to the Wi-Fi Alliance® program guidelines for Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Home Designs.     Lennar’s automated homes are built according to the Wi-Fi Alliance® program guidelines for Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Home Designs. The Wi-Fi Alliance® also certifies home designs after review of a home floorplan, which may occur after your closing. Wireless performance in homes will vary due to design changes, construction changes, placement of furnishings and appliances, usage, and local conditions.   • What does “homesite premium” mean?
    Lennar offers premium options for those who want a larger homesite or one that is situated in a more desirable area of the community. For example, if you wish to live in a Lennar community with a golf course and own a home on the course, you might pay more for that desirable homesite. The same applies for the purchase of a larger homesite (property). Reach out to a New Home Consultant to inquire about homesite premiums in your community of interest.
  • How do I determine the taxes for a new home?
    When you find your new Lennar dream home, a New Home Consultant can provide you with pertinent information regarding the estimated taxes on your new property; however, you should also consult your personal tax advisor.
  • Can I build a Lennar home on my own property?
    Lennar does not offer build-to-contract homes on personal property. Should your needs change, or you consider purchasing a new Lennar home in one of our communities, we will be more than happy to assist you with your new home search.
  • How do I contact my HOA?
    If you have not closed on your new Lennar home, your New Home Consultant in your community can help you contact your Homeowners Association (HOA). Post-closing day, we ask that you reach out to your local Customer Care Team to help you retrieve the HOA’s contact information. To inquire, find your Customer Care Team via our Contact us page. A Lennar associate will respond to your request within 24-48 hours of receipt during regular weekly business hours.
  • What are the HOA fees?
    Prior to the purchase or closing of your new Lennar home, an Internet Sales Consultant or your New Home Consultant in your community can help you discover your Homeowners Association (HOA) fees. Post-closing day, we ask that you reach out to your local Customer Care Team to help you retrieve this information.
  • How do I learn more about financing my new home?

  • What is myLennar?
    myLennar is a free, online account that helps you navigate your journey to homeownership. myLennar allows you to save floorplans, receive construction updates, access new home documents, and more, evolving with you as you shop, buy, and own a new home. Visit our myLennar page to learn more and create your account today to start a simplified home purchase and ownership experience.
  • What can I do with a myLennar account?
    With a myLennar account, you can read home-focused articles, schedule utility services, access myLennar Rewards, and more! myLennar evolves with you as you shop, buy, and own your new home, changing its features and functions to better assist you with each step of your journey home.
  • How do I create a myLennar account?
    You can create a myLennar account at any time prior to buying a new Lennar home by clicking “myLennar account” at the top of this page. Once you sign the purchase agreement, if you have not yet created your account, our system automatically creates one for you, using the email address of the primary contact on the agreement as the username.   • Are myLennar accounts free?
    Yes, your myLennar account is free to create and use. Please note, however, that any products and services you order through myLennar will have costs associated with them, including installation fees, taxes, and additional charges.
  • How do I access myLennar Rewards?
    Sign into your myLennar account and click on “Rewards.” The myLennar Rewards page lists special offers from select Lennar partners, and these deals are available to anyone with a myLennar account.
  • How do I exit myLennar?
    Click “Sign out” at the top right of any Lennar webpage to leave your myLennar account.
  • How do I get help using myLennar?
    To get assistance with myLennar, go to our Contact us page, select Feedback, and choose “myLennar account assistance” from the drop-down topic menu. A Lennar associate will respond to your request within 24-48 hours of receipt during regular weekly business hours.
  • How do I change my password?
    To change your password, sign into your myLennar account and select “My account” from the navigation bar. Click “Change password.” Enter your old and new passwords in the respective fields, and then click “Save” to confirm.
  • What if I lose my password or username?
    Your username is the email address of the primary contact on your Lennar home purchase agreement.* If you lose your password, not to worry. You can regain access to your account by clicking “Forgot your password?” on the login menu. When prompted, provide your email, and a message with a link to reset your password will be sent to your inbox.

    *Please note: If you created a myLennar account prior to purchase, and your email for myLennar is different from the one provided in your Purchase Agreement, please visit our Contact Us page, select Feedback, choose "myLennar account assistance" from the drop-down topic menu, and leave a comment. A Lennar associate will respond to your request within 24-48 hours of receipt during regular weekly business hours.
  • How do I sign into myLennar with Facebook?
    You can sign into myLennar via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or LinkedIn. Click on “myLennar account” at the top of this page and select the social media account you wish to sync with myLennar. Please note, however, that if you connect through one of these social media platforms, you will also be subject to their Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
  • How do I change or update my account information?
    Sign into your myLennar account and select “My account” from the navigation bar. Go to “Account information,” expand the section you want, and if necessary, click the pencil icon to edit your information. When finished, hit “Save” to confirm your changes.
  • How do I unsubscribe from myLennar emails?
    You can change your communication preferences at any time. Sign into your myLennar account and select “My account” from the navigation bar. Go to “Account information” and choose “Communication preferences.” Make your changes and click “Save” to confirm.

    You can also unsubscribe from myLennar emails by scrolling to the bottom of an email and clicking “opt-out” in the disclaimer. This will take you to our “Communications preferences” page which gives you the option to “Unsubscribe” from myLennar emails. Be sure to checkmark “Privacy and terms” before clicking “Submit.”
  • Who is responsible for providing the services and products that I order?
    All products and services you order through myLennar are business transactions between you and the provider(s) you choose. Lennar facilitates your connection with these providers, but Lennar does not provide the actual services, nor is Lennar responsible for any action or failure on the part of a provider to deliver a particular product or service. Any questions or comments you have regarding the quality of service you receive from a provider should go directly to the provider of the service or product. Scrapbook FAQs

  • What is Scrapbook?
    Similar to your social media channels, Scrapbook lets you share special moments in the life of your home on a personal timeline. Post construction progress or celebrate new home firsts, and then share these achievements with friends and family via email or make them public so they appear on the Lennar website.   • Who can use Scrapbook?
    Anyone with a myLennar account can use Scrapbook to share memorable moments during their journey to homeownership and after closing day.
  • Can I use Scrapbook on a mobile device?
    Yes, Scrapbook is compatible with most mobile devices. You can post, view, and share special home moments from your smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer.
  • What is a milestone?
    A milestone is a special moment in the life of your home. From closing day to move-in day and beyond, you can choose to post these milestones to your Scrapbook and share them with friends, family, and/or fellow Lennar homeowners.
  • How do I add a milestone?
    Sign into your myLennar account and select “Scrapbook” from the navigation bar. Click “Post your milestone,” and then upload the photo or video of your milestone. If you are using a mobile device, you can select an image from your photo library or take a photo with your device’s camera. Fill out the available fields, then choose if you want to make the milestone public or private. When finished, click “Post your milestone.”
  • How do I edit a milestone?
    You can edit a milestone any time you view your Scrapbook in the default timeline view – this is denoted by the clock icon next to “View by.” Click “Edit” over an existing milestone, make your changes, and then click “Save” to confirm.
  • How do I delete a milestone?
    You can delete a milestone any time you view your Scrapbook in the default timeline view – this is denoted by the clock icon next to “View by.” Click “Edit” over an existing milestone, and then choose “Delete milestone” in the bottom right-hand corner.
  • What are examples of milestones?
    Scrapbook covers a variety of special moments in the life of your home. From shop to buy to own, you can share your favorite model home features; track the building progress of your new home; celebrate new home firsts, like holidays and family traditions. Scrapbook is just a fun way to tell your story as a Lennar homeowner.

    Should you need more ideas, we display a prompt each month to inspire your Scrapbook journey. The prompt is posted in Scrapbook in your myLennar account.
  • What is the difference between a "Public" and "Private" milestone?
    Public milestones are shared on Lennar.com and Lennar social media channels, making them viewable to all online audiences. This can be a great way to connect with other Lennar homeowners. However, if you want to choose who can and cannot see your milestones, a Private milestone can only be shared by you via email or your own social media channels. You can edit the audience selection at any time by clicking “Edit” in the default timeline view – this is denoted by the clock icon next to “View by” – of your Scrapbook.
  • How do I share my Scrapbook?

    There are two ways to share your Scrapbook: email and social media. To share via email, click the mail icon beneath “Share My Scrapbook.” Fill out the “To” and “From” fields, add a message if you so choose, and then click “Send Email.” The recipient of your email will be able to view your Scrapbook by clicking the provided link in the message.

    To share your Scrapbook via a social media channel, click the Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or Pinterest icons beneath “Share my Scrapbook.”

  • Who can I contact with additional questions about Scrapbook or myLennar?
    To get assistance with Scrapbook or myLennar, go to our Contact us page, select Feedback, and choose “myLennar account assistance” from the drop-down topic menu. A Lennar associate will respond to your request within 24-48 hours of receipt during regular weekly business hours.

Financing FAQs

  • Do you offer assistance with home financing?
    Eagle Home Mortgage is a full-service mortgage lender and financial services subsidiary of Lennar. Whether you buy your first or fifth home, refinance a current mortgage, or fund a home repair project, Eagle provides the most appropriate loan options to suit your needs.   • Who do I call regarding my loan status?
    Please reach out to your Loan Officer to inquire about your loan status. Once your loan has gone to an underwriter, the Loan Officer will notify you of this action and give you the name of the Loan Processor who will handle your file after the underwriter. The Loan Processor will contact you via a phone call to discuss your credit approval and next steps for closing on your new home.

    If the loan has already closed, please contact Eagle – Customer Service at 1-800-741-8262 or via email at eagleservice@eaglehm.com to inquire about its status.
  • Who do I send my documentation to?
    The fastest, easiest way to send your documentation to Eagle is through their Digital Mortgage app. The app is free and keeps private information secure with bank-level encryption. You also have the option to mail, fax, or use our secure web portal to send in your documents, but the app will provide you ease and flexibility to close your loan faster.
  • Who do I contact for a closing date on our home?
    Please contact your New Home Consultant to inquire about the closing date on your new Lennar home.
  • Who do I contact for a refinance?
    Please contact your Loan Officer to inquire about refinancing, or visit the Eagle Home Mortgage website to find a Loan Officer near you.
  • Who do I call if I want to lock-in my interest rate?
    Please contact your Loan Officer to handle the lock-in of an interest rate on your mortgage.
  • Who can I refer my friends and relatives to for a mortgage?
    If you know someone who is interested in applying for a mortgage, please direct them to call your Loan Officer.
  • When is my first mortgage payment due?
    Your first mortgage payment is typically due 30 to 45 days after closing. To verify, please contact Eagle – Customer Service at 1-800-741-8262 or via email at eagleservice@eaglehm.com.
  • When are my (subsequent) mortgage payments due?
    Your mortgage payment is due on the 1st of the month, and after the 15th there is a late charge. If you fail to make your mortgage payment within 30 days, a late payment will be reported to the credit agencies. You should have received payment coupons at your closing, but you will also receive a payment notification in the mail shortly before payment is due. If you have any questions, please email eagleservice@eaglehm.com, or pay by phone by calling the toll-free number 1-800-741-8262.
  • Who do I make my mortgage payment out to on a check?
    You will make your payment out to “Eagle Home Mortgage, LLC” until your loan is sold. Once your loan is sold, you will receive a notification of its sale and contact information for the new servicer, to whom you will make out all future payments.

    Please note: Eagle will typically move to sell your loan as soon as possible after your closing. If you have any questions, please contact Eagle – Customer Service.

  • Where do I send my mortgage payment?

  • Can I make my mortgage payments online?
    All mortgage payments must be mailed or done via a phone call. Eagle Home Mortgage does not accept payments online. If you have any questions, please email eagleservice@eaglehm.com, or call the toll-free number 1-800-741-8262.
  • Who do I contact to make a payment by telephone?
    Please contact the Eagle Loan Servicing Department at the toll-free number 1-800-741-8262 any time between 9am and 5pm (EST) Monday through Friday.
  • Where do I find my loan coupons?

    You should have received three loan coupons for the first three payments when you signed your closing documents. You should also receive monthly coupons in the mail the month payment is due.* If you require assistance, please contact Eagle’s Loan Servicing Department at the toll-free number 1-800-741-8262.

    *Please note: The payment coupons are informational only and have no monetary value. A check or money order must be enclosed with the coupon to be processed.
  • Who do I contact about obtaining my mortgage interest statement for income tax purposes?
    Please contact the Eagle Loan Servicing Department at our toll-free number 1-800-741-8262 any time between 9am and 5pm (EST) Monday through Friday.
  • How can I obtain a copy of my appraisal?
    You should have received a copy of your appraisal prior to closing. Should it be lost, you can call either your Loan Officer or Loan Processor to have a new copy sent to you.

    Please understand that events beyond our control, like the weather, can delay building efforts. To confirm the start date for a planned community or to receive information about its grand opening (or release date), chat now with an Internet Sales Consultant who can add your name to that community’s interest list.
  • Where do I find the hours of operation for a community?
    The hours of operation for a Welcome Home Center are listed on its respective Community page. Please note special holiday hours (or closed days) may apply.
  • Are you pet friendly?

  • How can I verify employment for a former associate?

  • How do I inquire about the warranty?

  • No one has called me back about my warranty request. Who do I contact?

  • Where can I find information regarding my previously owned/current Lennar home (paint colors, cabinet manufacturer, etc.)?

  • Where can I get the floorplan for my home?
    To retrieve the floorplan for your home, sign into your myLennar account and select “My home details” from the navigation bar. Scroll down to find your floorplan.* If your floorplan is unavailable, please contact your local Customer Care Team for assistance; you can find their number on our list of Customer Care contacts.

     

    *Please note: The floorplan that is available is the marketing floorplan for your homesite and not the detailed blueprint of construction drawings. Detailed blueprints of construction are a matter of company privacy.

  • Where can I see floorplans for your homes?
    Select a Plan from a Community page and scroll down to view a layout of the floorplan.
  • Do you have a list of available homesites?
    You can view the “Site Plan” on each Community page; but to inquire about homesite availability, please reach out to a New Home Consultant in your community of interest.
  • Do you offer discounts and special incentives?
    Lennar communities can offer special deals and incentives throughout the year, but to inquire about a community of interest, chat now with an Internet Sales Consultant.
  • How much are you offering realtors/real estate agents in commission?
    Commission rates for real estate agents vary by location. To inquire about these rates, chat now with an Internet Sales Consultant for a community of interest. To qualify for any applicable commission/bonus, registration must occur on the first visit and a broker/agent must execute Lennar’s Cooperating Broker Agreement and otherwise comply with Lennar’s Broker Participation Policy.
