Nervous System: Unique Jewellery Design

Probably any woman at least once in her life wanted to own a piece of jewellery which would be absolutely unique and created specially for her with all her individual qualities taken into account. You think it is too complicated and expensive? No! Designers Jessica Rosenberg and Jess Louis-Rosenkranz have developed an original mathematic method to create jewellery. The method is called Nervous System and allows creating experimental jewellery, combining non-traditional materials like silicone rubber and stainless steel with rapid prototyping methods.

Nervous System: Unique Jewellery Design

The mechanism of creation a unique jewellery piece is quite simple: you have to undergo a kind of test which will show in the result the type of pattern that will suit you ideally. Further you can use the pattern to create your individually designed pendants, brooches, bracelets, earrings , etc. The prototype of the adornment can be made of silicon, stainless steel or gold.

There are several algorithms for creating jewellery patterns: Dendrite — creating coral-like motif, Radiolaria — designing net-like patterns. Two more algorithms under development are Algae and Lamina.
