The jewelry of the red carpet. Part I
Oscar Award ceremony is an event, that features not only the most luxurious dresses, but also the most beautiful, striking and expensive jewelry. The jewelry items, that are warn by the celebrities to the “Oscar†award ceremony, are called Hollywood fantasy. Average viewers that watch the ceremony in front of their TV-screens, would never afford jewelry like that, but the view of the sparkling gems is a real esthetic delight for all of us. Let us see now, which jewelry items were chosen for the Oscar-2009 ceremony.
One of the most beautiful creations decorated the neck of Amy Adams, the Oscar-nominated actress. A massive necklace by Fred Leighton, that resembled a precious item from the luxurious palace of a Persian sheikh, contrasted beautifully with the red dress of the actress. The set, chosen by Angelina Jolie also attracted the viewers by its size and colour. The star preferred big earrings and a ring made up of clear emeralds. It seemed, as if the actress had borrowed the items from a museum - the gems were so big, that it was hardly possible to believe, they were natural.
One of the most “decorated†actresses of the ceremony appeared to be the German star Heidi Klum. The ears of the celebrity were decorated with huge long earrings, that hanged down to her neck. The earrings had a form of a flower bouquet and were made from white gold, corals and diamonds, but this was not the most expensive part of Klum’s attain. If it was possible to sell one of the star’s wrists, it would have cost millions of dollars – due to four massive bracelets, covered with diamonds and corals, to pass the earrings. The fingers of the actress were decorated with two huge rings.
